About the cabins: Both the small and large cabins feature genuine 1970s interiors, paired with newly renovated kitchens. Each has a balcony with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Just 100 meters away, you’ll find the cross-country skiing trails.

Beautiful hiking trails start near the cabins, leading up into the open mountain plateau
Just 100 meters away, you’ll find the cross-country skiing trails. Downhill skiing is available in Hamra, about a 10-minute drive away.
Fishing is popular in the area, with Tänndalen’s lakes and streams home to trout, char, and grayling.

About Nobel Cabins
Once owned by the paint company Akzo Nobel, these cabins on Gotland and in Tänndalen were originally created as retreats where employees could relax and recharge. Nowadays it is run by a family who were drawn to their incredible locations—Tänndalen, surrounded by majestic mountains and sparkling lakes, and Furillen, with its unique landscape, pristine beaches, and sense of harmony. The Akzo Nobel legacy is still present but today everyone can experience and enjoy the beauty of these special places in Sweden.

How does it work if you want to rent a cabin?
Booking and payment for the cabin are made via this website.
What is available on-site?
The cabins are fully furnished with kitchens and kitchenware. The kitchens are equipped with a microwave, oven, stove, and dishwasher.
What do you need to bring?
Bed linen, towels, dish soap (including dishwasher detergent), toilet paper, kitchen paper, soap, and shampoo.
How does cleaning work?
You don’t need to clean the cabin when you leave — a mandatory cleaning fee is already included in your booking. However, we kindly ask that you leave the cabin in good condition. If there are any damages or excessive mess beyond normal use, you may be charged for repairs or extra cleaning.
